"HI EVERYONE! THIS IS YOUR ''LONG-AWAITED'' PHOTOS FROM THE FLEA-FLY MARKET BROTHER AND SISTER STORE!"

SETTING UP OF STORE

"wahh... very heavy lehhh..."

"You sure you know who to open this umbrella not? What is this string for???"

"Aiyaa... I teach you how to open it laa..."
KG: "wahh.. auntie so pro..."

TADAAAA!!! DONE! We had SUPER SUPER GOOD DIVINE FAVOUR from the auntie you see in the previous picture who is the in-charged person of this flea market.
As you can see, we have tables! Auntie allowed us to use tables when the rest of the stores there only used mats. Auntie provided us with 2 huge umbrellas for free 'cause it's a hot day and I think we can attract more people with them 'cause it makes the store looks so stand out in a way. (I think you are blind if you can't see our store! hahahaha)
From this picture you can't see many things laid out, actually we still have bags and bags of stuff! And when the crowd came, auntie loaned us extra mats so that we can display everything that we have! Last but not least, Auntie allowed us to play our own music!
Thank God! hahaha. =DDD

The bags and bags of stuff that are not laid out despite having the store already set up!

half way through most of us got a little crazy and we kind of camwhored with a 350D.

"EVERYTHING VERY CHEAP COME AND BUY!!!"
and kind of went around and took nonsense pictures of people there. hahaha.

INTRODUCING! MODELS OF THE DAY

(from left, Keiji, Baba, Justin)
I guess they somehow got bored or I dunno is whose brilliant idea, but these 3 guys went to take erm 'random' t-shirts that were on sale at the flea market and wore them.
hahahaha...

FINALLY!
INTRODUCING THE MANY FACES OF PETER JAMES!!!

I realised I have the most individual shots of Peter James. LOL. and these photos are taken by either me, Abby, Charles, or some other random people.
Peter, photogenic arr???
hahaha, although I think you look hilarious in some of the photos!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST!
All our earnings from this flea market will go to missions, basically to help children get an education in poor countries. =))))
And our initial target for 2 flea markets was $450, but the first one was cancelled due to heavy rain and we didn't get a refund for our rental payment.
SO theoretically we had only 1 flea market in the quite ulu not the busy busy popular with alot of crowd place call Far East Square in Chinatown.
Despite all these, we earned $573 in total!!! OVERSHOT our target for 2 flea markets!!!
wohoooo... this is overdued post but yeahhh this is still a happy thing to cheer abt!

God really helped us and gave us divine favour and awesome weather for the flea market! Although we don't have massive crowds, but our customers that came in groups of 2 or 3 still managed to somehow help us earned so much!
hoho... =DDD
Today is blood donation day! so exciting, though it kind of departed from my mind till i saw it the set-up at the study room after school. heh. Considering that I am 18 now! I don't need my mum to sign any form. hoho. =DDD

sooo... me and con went to donate blood after I finished AQ after sch today. Both of us got rejected last year so haha it's scary and exciting to try again. LOL. But, con got rejected again cause of low iron level but I made it all the way to the seat. hahaha... =D

I don't know why but I find it quite a funny experience. I was trying not to laugh when the doctor was measuring my blood pressure and when the worker there was going to insert the needle into my vein! hahaha.

ok. ultimate question of the day! PAIN NOT?
errrr... no... LOL. ok the most most painful part would be the stapling part where they do a mini test of your blood and the injection they give before they finally insert the bigger needle to transfer blood into the bag.
but then again the stapling part maybe it's painful to the extent of a red ant's bite???
then the injection was painful when it first went in and when the fluid was injected, but after that the pain was gone totally.
AND, the biggest needle that went in to transfer the blood wasn't pain at all, like almost no feeling. haha

okok... here comes the HIGHLIGHT!
during the mini check-up, doctor said my blood pressure only just passed so she requested i drank some/alot of water before the blood transfer because i might feel giddy afterwards. And I feel totally fine through the whole process when my blood was oozing out from my vein into the bag. Until when the bag was full and the person was going to remove everything, thennnn... the next thing I know, I was lying flat and some 3 people surrounded me, telling me to rest and not move.

Apparently, I fainted.
haha.

I never fainted before, so I guess this experience was quite interesting and I somehow find it funny too, although I kind of scared the people that was around at that time.
When she was going the remove the stuff, I just started to feel a little giddy then I just blacked out. It happened so fast, I didn't realise I fainted. It feels like those kind of times whereby you doze off in class and you didn't realise you dozed off until you woke up. Just that I was usually half awake when I doze off in class but just now when I fainted, I was totally unaware of whatever that was happening around me.

Con said the person asked me, "Miss, are you ok? Miss, are you ok?" But I made no response at all, so she hurriedly called the people to help and got me to lie down.
(I think I totally lost consciousness, I had totally no idea what happened.)

I only realised after a while and confirmed with con that I fainted. tskk. so malu. lol. Then she still asked me if I saw Jesus when I blacked out. lol. hahaha. Anyway, con was so motherly cause she made sure I rest enough and remained sitted down till colour returned on my face. I had to drink alot alot of water to replenish my body. I got oreo biscuits and raisins to eat from the reception outside too. Con was very nice to send me home too, in case I faint again on my way home. heh.

In conclusion, today is quite an interesting day because I fainted and I never faint before. Not that I wish to faint again! lol. Good thing I was on sitted on the chair when I fainted, if I was standing, I probably would have hurt myself by falling down.

ALRIGHT! THAT'S ALL FOR TODAY! =DDD
AND I FEEL PERFECTLY FINE NOW AND I WILL MAKE SURE I DRINK ALOT ALOT OF WATER! =DDD
AND I WILL GO DONATE BLOOD AGAIN DE!
(next time donate blood must do pre-blood donation preparation. lol)

I don't want my life to be destroyed too...

hahaha
I just going to paste this photo here cause I really really like it alot.
and cause it amuses me. hahaha.
never fail to want to laugh looking at it, cause it looks so dumb and we look so dumb and funny as well. LOL

the 07/08 batch of exco is perhaps the smallest (shortest) one,
with the exception of quentin.
considering the previous batch of seniors, most of guys and they are all big size.
esp the legendary mr chee howe. LOL.
luckily? the new batch of exco, kind of grew a bit compared to us.
ANYWAY. HEIGHT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING.
LOL. hahaha... yaya I'm not particularly TALLLLL...
but I don't really care anyway, I'm fine with my height.
And one more thing, if you realise from the picture.
You can actually see we are actually all the same height like as if you can draw the straight line across our head.
and Quentin is just being TOO 'OUTSTANDING'.

okkk... BYEBYE! =D

"GOOOODDDDD DAY/NIGHT EVERYONE!
This is silly Lily, your proud and very retarded talk host from the De-Noise Radio Broadcasting Station! I simply love sooo much to share with you the BRILLIANT time I had with UNSOUND on my birthday!"

Photobucket

INTRODUCING UNSOUND!
FINALLY, all 6 of us has gathered once again, no missing people!!!
We went to Out of the Pan at Raffles City and enjoyed delicious Crêpes!
hoho.

Wong (girl in 1st picture if you happen to not know) had her favouritest SALMON.
Wen had some snail thing which I dunno call what, and I dunno how to spell. LOL.
I had FISH MASALA. Extremely rare that I would eat fish, but cause it's masala, I couldn't resist! (and I had the lamest/retarded/ran out of vocab words to describe experience with eating masala.)
As for Charl, Englee and Ping. I so totally cannot remember what they ate. LOL.
Fill me in if you happen to remember. HAHA.

What is a meal without desserts or sweets or... (aiya you get what I mean)
Charl's eyes is like so totally glued to the cake.
And this cake is so adored by us all... HAHA.
Look at the joy in Ping's face.
LOL.
And PING! DOES THIS PHOTO REMIND YOU OF SOMETHING?
(seriously what is inside your nose? gold ar? why is it that people are so keen to dig it?)
LOL. (remember the toy screwdriver photo?)

This is so ultimately LATE. btw, englee's birthday was in April, EARLY april. And now it's MAY!
Apparently I have procrastinated for a month before uploading this.
AND LILY YOU MUST LIKE GO MEMORISE OR SOMETHING THE 101 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW!
lol. then you can internalize what we say ma.
Next time take bus from bugis to esplanade must remember to alight and not take until it looped back to bugis hor... =)

more photos to be uploaded soon!
stay tuned! =D

Saturday, May 03, 2008

hi everybodyy.
looking at the list of photos that I wish to upload,
it's like 0.0
but I still want to upload it!
cause, I really love photos, and
I see them as a form of preserving the moment (so called) and the memories of course!
what you call "Seize the Moment".
I think that's why, I find myself taking more photos of people during events,
like birthdays or church events or miscellaneous stuffs more than I actually try out or willing to go try out taking nice pictures around Singapore or have fun with a certain type of photography.
which I think is a good and bad thing?
or maybe I am just plain lazy la har?
lol.

anyway I'm going to add one more to the list, that is the photos from TJ Family Day.
which I spent the whole afternoon under the sun for, and sooooo
DID NOT realise I was getting burnt. HAHA.
But, it was REALLY FUN! And we have like 3 or 4 photographers going around,
and I got to help take photos for our so called "photo booth".
altho, this year's "business" was quite bad compared to last year when Kheng went on shooting people for hours (like studio/glamour shot/whatever you call it shot) and there was this EXTREMELY long quene that never seem to end.
Plus, they were doing on-site printing and we did not do that this year.
But my experience was a gan jiong, funny, hilarious, with me running around screaming kind.
LOL. ANDDDD I SHALL not elaborate why other than the fact that I was standing on a mini
ladder shooting the people.
(if you get what i mean)

and I TELL YOU.
although the sun was scorching hot,
but the SKY WAS LIKE BRILLIANTLY BLUE
AND WOAH CUTE FLUFFY CLOUDS...
this is the time, you can jump for joy,
cause I happen to borrow 10-22!
HAHA.
altho the photos i took are not the kind you will go wahh laa...
hahaha... but the sky was REALLY NICE!

now I have a tee-shirt tanline.
"brilliant!" =)

ohh. last but not least.
I want to say.
NOW THE LOFT BED IS IN MY ROOM!
wohoo. =DDD
