Leadership Training Camp!!!

Day 1

Campsite a damn damn damn ULU place la!!!
Passed by 3 cemetries (christian, chinese and muslim)
Passed by chicken farm, goat farm etc etc....
Trees, trees and even more trees???
(ok la dun haf so mani trees)

I luvVvVvVvvVvVvvv day 1!!!
It's ta best!! (in my opinion)

I was kinda looking forward to high elements and tower!!!
RAWKS!!! =)))
*so sadd no rock climbing...

We did onli 4 stations for low elements
coz we were late....
The Wall was the best... i think easiest...
The rest haf ta lift ppl...
which we dun realli haf strength to do so...

I din expected our meals to be nice actualli...
but it turned out rather delicious!
yumm.... haha....

*1st time actualli seeing myself stuffing everything in....
trying to fins in the quickest amt of time....
eating record: within erm 10mins?

I can take 1 hr at home juz for the same amt probably....

High Elements was quite funn....
*Tower even more funn!!!

i tried on broken bridge and erm...
walking on rope de.... (*forgot ta name)

Zipline! so cool!!!

then stoopid mi walk so fast then i went first lor...

Din realli dare to go down...
*was hesitating

But it was so funn!!!
The instructor he very funni lehx....
Coz our grp is Hawk ma...
then actualli onli need to say
"Is runway clear?"
then he call mi to scream
"i'm flying" too...
so funni.....

Flying kite was nice! haha...

Twin Centipede....
*i thought was the rock wall for a moment...

so disappointed, we not climbing rock wall...

The rocks on the twin centipede are at the
*WEIRDest place ever...
so hardd to climb....

*kept switching places....

after Jess climbed...
Leader Crystal was saying if anione can reach the top,
she gifs us a point....
=)))
I reached the top!!!
yays!
but suppose to climb down....
i din noe, i fall dwn instd....

Field Cooking was horrid!
mushroom tasted disgusting wifout cooking...
maggi was yucks...
*no taste....
i dun like chicken maggi....

I not much of a fussy eater,
so i still manage to swallow the food...
*there's like so oooo little time!!!

Gd thing we onli field cook once...
*it was a gd expr aniwae....

wht i learnt: soot cums off easily if u smear toothpaste under the mastins...

Item prep....

like 8 of us... none can rmb...

Bathing time is realli
*Cannot make it arh!!!

wah... i onli shower cum out...
bathing record time: 5mins
I can take like 30mins or more at home...

Item Prep is basicalli to prepare our campfire items,
or learn campfire songs....
Prac few times onli ba....

Leader Crystal was attached to our grp...
She shld be the one bringing us ard...

It goes in this order...
Shermaine, Jessica, Me, Ke Li, Shao Yu, Yvonne, Xiu Qi then Evelyn...
Evelyn kena pulled away first...
we were like oh no! where she go!!!
*freaks

We did alot of head counts la... then
Shermaine was pulled away...
we had alot of distractions....
*funni...
wasn't realli scared...
-air blowing into our ears
-hands touching ur necks/face
-scary voices
-wet hands
-"raining"

So funn!!!
din get to remove my blindfold....
*i was damn curious where i'm at la!!!
but aniwaes i had lotsa funn!!!

I had rashes alreadi...
very dirty....
din haf time to bathe either....


Clean myself wif wet tissue...
*gross...
the whole thing was
BROWN!!!
*like duhh...
how clean did i expect myself to be???

Put lotsa powder!
*tat is the onli thing i forgot to bring for ltc...

Day 2

FIRE DRILL!!!
*i still got the huh? look for a while...
before realising wht happen....
sheesh....

I was shivering at the carpark....
Bbbrrrbbrrr.....
COLD!!!!


The next time i woke up....
it was 5.24am!!!!
*I rmbed....
i am the time-keeper ma...
(we supposed to wake up at 5.00am!)

*shock... Our whole grp still asleep...
looked ard... Indigo/Gryphon are awake alreadi....
*quickly woke the grp up....

Dom Inspection was horrible...
*lotsa stuff not standardise...
*sighz....

Morning PT
*tiring....
so glad it was over....
*cannot take it le....
record: 1st time do so mani pushups (ard 10+????)
thought my hands going to die....

I Like Orienteering!!!!
so funn!!!
like some kind of treasure hunt....

Very pathetic though...

then is like i was one of the blindfolded ppl...
we were still "jogging" la....

I was the "torch bearer"
was holding the leave with my arm out-stretch...
Like olympics torch bearer...

My first aid so gonna FAIL!!

Then the stretcher...

the 2-hand seat was horrible too...

Had Mass Com after tat...
It was quite funn actualli...

in front of the leaders or sth....

We sat in a grp
of 4 (Ke Li, Shermaine, Jessica & mi)
And the attached leaders were Leader Vivian and Alicia...
We were suppose to read this passage
abt Elvis Presley...
And grade each other ltr...

We chit-chat after reading...
haha...
tok lotsa stuff...
intro each other first...
It was funn chit-chatting...

The milo at Night Cap
was *disgusting
water wif milo powder
not sweet...
*most digusting thing i ate: milo at night cap
no taste realli
like drinking boil water...
it wouldn't be bad if i was drinking boil water
but it smell and looks like milo...

I ate very little biscuits...
I was busy trying to fins the milo....

Saw Lizards mating

Tat nite couldn't sleep
i was itching from head to toe...
*cleaning myself wif wet tissue
didn't seem to help mux...
Powder did little help too...

i was tossing and turning...
*Horribly hot...
for like 30 mins
then ard midnite
*so weirdx
it became sooo cold!
i went to take my jacket!

*extreme weather

I almost woke up every hour
*hafing the fear of Fire Drill


Day 3


5.00am sharp!!!
Fire Drill!!!!
rushed to the carpark...

I hit my knee
when we ran behind the mph
din see the bench in front of mi
*ouch

I reported strength to Assistant Chief Pei Ying
When I went back to the grp
I realise i din say "Hawk reporting"
I onli reported our total and present strength....
*well we reported in alphabetical order
so minus tat 2 words din realli get mi scolded???
*hee....

Dom Inspection was betta than the day b4...
But still not up to expections...
We were ask to hold up our bottles
*straight up
*mine was almost to the brim
I couldn't take it...
was trying to figure a way
*to hold the bottle
and lessen the load on my hand...
*nth came up
Then we had to do more PT
coz we kena punished...
Did 2 times the jumping jacks
*so tiring!!!
We left 10mins earlier
for kitchen duty
*i was pretty glad
our duty was scheduled on that day

During Big Sweep
We all came up wif a Calsberg cheer
(Xiu Qi came up wif ta idea)
Had funn...
During Prize Presentation
Hawk got 2nd!!!
numerically we were 1st...
Lost to Echo ltr
coz they got bonus marks...
*oh wells...
our marks were very close la...

We got 2nd big packet of Biscuits
Bravo was 3rd
It was quite alot of biscuits
*i duno wht happen to them

Journey back was funn too...
tok alot on the bus...

3 days is such a short time...

I think the onli thing i miss during camp
would probably
to haf a nice bath!

it's very funn...
it would be great
if i had chances for
more of such camps!!!
